Meet Tayla

Tayla is a registered psychologist currently engaging in Telehealth therapy for children ages 8 to 18 years old as part of Tic Tac Toe Early Childhood.

Her approach is grounded in a deep commitment to understanding each child’s unique needs and creating a supportive, empathetic environment where they can feel safe to explore their emotions and challenges.

Tayla draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness techniques, and strengths-based strategies, all tailored to your child’s individual needs. Through creative methods like role play, drawings, games and interactive exercises, she helps children engage with therapy in a fun and meaningful way, building the skills they need to manage emotions, develop resilience, and navigate life’s ups and downs.

Working collaboratively with parents and schools is a core part of Tayla’s practice. She believe's that the best outcomes occur when everyone involved in a child’s life works together to support their mental health and well-being. As a telehealth provider, Tayla offer therapy from the comfort and safety of your child’s home, making it easier for children/adolescents to participate in sessions while reducing the stress of travel or unfamiliar settings.
